Cadillac Introduces The LYRIQ And OPTIQ EV Models Including The OPTIQ ARCTIQ To Reestablishes Its Presence In Europe

Cadillac is making a return to the European market, debuting its electric vehicle (EV) lineup at the Paris Motor Show 2024, which marks the company’s first appearance at the iconic French auto show in over a decade.

According to Cadillac, the company is presenting two standout models from its global EV portfolio:
Pere Brugal, President and Managing Director at GM Europe, stated, “Both models showcased Cadillac’s future-forward approach to luxury transportation, cementing its position as a leader in the electric vehicle space.”

The all-new 2025 Cadillac OPTIQ is a mid-size luxury SUV aimed at attracting a new generation of luxury buyers. Its youthful and sporty design is highlighted by a distinctive V-shaped front grille, giving it a bold and modern appearance. Buyers can choose from six exterior color options and four interior themes, allowing for personalization to suit individual tastes.
The OPTIQ is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Cadillac’s Super Cruise driver assistance system, which offers hands-free driving capabilities on compatible roads. A 33-inch diagonal LED display enhances the interior’s high-tech feel, providing an immersive experience for both the driver and passengers. For performance, the dual motor all-wheel drive system ensures responsive handling and spirited driving dynamics.
In addition to luxury and performance, the OPTIQ emphasizes sustainability. Recycled materials are used throughout the interior, aligning with Cadillac’s commitment to eco-friendly practices while still delivering a premium feel.

Cadillac is also unveiling the OPTIQ ARCTIQ, a special edition that “reinvents the future of luxury winter travel.” This show vehicle features a striking white pearl exterior with blue accents, inspired by the Arctic landscape.
Jean-Pierre Diernaz, CMO at Cadillac, expressed enthusiasm for this latest special edition stating, “With its stunning design, innovative technology, and commitment to sustainability, the OPTIQ ARCTIQ offers an unforgettable adventure for those seeking the perfect blend of style and performance.”
This premiere represents a significant step in Cadillac’s return to Europe. The brand has recently launched in France and Germany, with plans for imminent introduction in the United Kingdom (UK).
Furthermore, both Luxury and Sport versions of the LYRIQ are available from 849 euros (around $923) per month with an LOA agreement, running from October 14th until November 2nd. As Cadillac aims to press forward in Europe, its EV offerings of the LYRIQ and OPTIQ models are set to make waves in the European market.
